First Match of the Season
It was good to welcome our first visiting team of the season, following the long league shutdown due to Covid.
Congratulations to Kidsgrove on a worthy victory and well done to (acting Chedd captain) David Hallen for saving the whitewash.
It was also good to have 24 people in total playing graded chess games, with a full turnout in both Open and U1700 sections of the club's Individual League (the U1400 players being mostly either away for half term or involved in this match). Including casual players we had 30 at the club last night.
