Due to player shortages for Highcliffe only three boards were played, it was resounding victory for the visitors with all three games finishing in quick succession. |The visitors were strong on all boards and deserved their win that should put them on top of the Bacchus League.

Many thanks to Highcliffe
Many thanks to Highcliffe for fulfilling the fixture, despite losing players at short notice to their C team. Much appreciated.
The game on board 3 finished first, very closely followed by the game of board 2, where Michal had queened the pawn first and chased his opponents king into the corner. The game on board 1 looked pretty even for much of the time but then Isaac gained the upper hand when Joshua played an inaccurate move. It was a bit like skittles down the boards with all games finishing within 5 to 10 minutes of each other at around 8.30pm.
