Steve Disney, New Milton Captain commented "a welcome 2 points, but sadly in vain".
But New Milton finished the season well with 2 wins and a draw from their final 4 matches, and were close to staying up. Also they have taken on experienced new recruits recently, and their team are likely to be one of the front runners in Div 4 next season - a division they won last season.
Meanwhile, Highcliffe B will be pleased with their mid-table position. They did especially well against higher graded teams like Southbourne C
