At 9 o'clock I thought we will win this match, at 10 we were driving home empty handed.......again against Southbourne....
Fair play to them for the win, I will let Martin say a few words about the games

Exciting Match
Chip's comments are completely accurate. Poole B had played the first half of the evening very well. They had won on board 4 (well played Martin) and were looking good on boards 1 and 3. James managed to play a controlled game on board 2 to equalise the match and then in a complex position, Steve won on board 3 to put Southbourne 2 - 1 up. I was totally lost after 14 moves (2 pawns down, worse development and fractured pawns in front of my king) and probably could have resigned but just hung in and eventually the position turned in my favour when we were both getting short of time - I think I was very lucky.
