A draw was a fitting result for the end of the season match between these two Lytham teams. The top three boards were all long and hard fought games and the match result was dependant on the game between Pat Coleman and Charles McNab which late into 'extra time' looked set for a draw. However a mistake by Charles cost him a bishop and the result then was an inevitable win for Pat.
