Match went down to the wire. Board 2 first to finish with win for New Milton. Then board 3 ended peacefully. Next board 4 finished after a gruelling battle with a small advantage for 60 moves converted for Bournemouth. This meant New Milton needed to win on board 1 but could not escape the checks and ended in a perpetual meaning Bournemouth tie 2-2
