A very good win for Wimborne keeping them in the title race.
Wimborne seemed to have an advantage on boards 2 -4 quite early on.
Board 4 was first to finish where Steve Culleton had a dominating position stopping his opponent from castling and eventually winning the game.
Bill on board 2 had a strong bind on Andrew's position and despite slightly letting Andrew back in the game Bill kept enough advantage to push through a pssed pawn. They were also reminissing about playing each other in the sixties !
Eddie on 3 seemed to get a strong early adavnatage and when I saw it next he was a piece up with the attack and soon finished.
My game against Mike saw an early swop off of Queens with black having a slight positional advantage but could not find a winning plan and eventually ended in a draw.
