Another tough battle between Highcliffe and Wimborne. This time it was Wimborne’s turn win. Despite defaulting board 1 ,wins on boards 3 and 4 and a hard fought draw on board 2 brought them victory. It did seem for most of the evening that Highcliffe were winning board 4. Hanging a queen reversed expectations! Well played Wimborne have a great Christmas best RU

another enjoyable evening at
another enjoyable evening at Highcliffe, the result rather fortunately for us. Having defaulted on board 1 and drawn on board 2 and a win on board 3.
With Matthew up on board 4 , it looked like it was going to be a win for Highcliffe, until Matthew blundered in a position where he faced 2 threats and
only dealt with one of them.
