Things looked good for Dorchester with Simon sacrificing to mate his opponent. Steve looked set for a win as well but miscalculated and lost a queening pawn race. With David and Tim unable to squeeze any advantage in their game it was down to board 1 to decide the result and Nicholas exploited his extra space to force a mating breakthrough. Well done Poole
